I ran an organization with staff across six countries. Every day someone on my team knew something that needed to reach someone else and it was not getting there. Not because people did not care. Because we had no system for it. I built Pulse Connect because I needed it.

Staff across six countries, each needing the right context at the right moment. The problem was never commitment. Everyone cared. The problem was that I could not get the right information to the right person across that many time zones and contexts. Things surfaced in one place and dissolved before anyone acted. Not carelessness. No infrastructure.
I built internal tools to close it, then started asking other leaders whether they had the same problem. Different companies, completely different contexts, same answer every time: a gap between what leadership intended and what was actually happening below them. That pattern is when I knew this was not an internal tool. It was a product that did not exist.
